Seda Arat
@sedaarat
I build AI and data science strategies for pharmaceutical safety and vaccine portfolios.
What I'm looking for
At Pfizer, I design AI innovation strategies through academic, venture capital, and start-up partnerships while advancing forecasting for vaccine portfolio programs.
I've led computational toxicology and data science initiatives spanning safety signal prediction, immune profiling, auto-immunity risk assessment for COVID-19 mRNA vaccine-associated myocarditis, and a graph-based enterprise webtool developed with IBM and Pfizer teams. My work combines predictive machine learning, knowledge graphs, bioinformatics, and cross-functional decision-making.
Previously, I transformed phenotypic, ChIP-Seq, Affinity-Seq, sequencing, and microarray data into actionable research insights at The Jackson Laboratory, GSK, UConn Health, and Virginia Tech. I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and bring experience in mathematical modeling, algorithm development, teaching, and interdisciplinary research.
