Sean McGill
@seanmcgill
Residential Program Director with 10+ years guiding special education programs through operations, coaching, and IEP-aligned support.
What I'm looking for
I’m a residential and special education program leader with 10+ years of experience supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across school and community settings. I bring strengths in staff supervision, program operations, and instructional leadership, with a consistent focus on individualized, outcomes-driven support.
I’ve served in interim regional leadership roles, overseeing staff and day-to-day operations during organizational transition while improving accountability systems. Alongside that operational work, I stay close to the work itself—coaching teams, strengthening performance management, and supporting onboarding, training, planning, and work assignment.
In school-based roles, I develop and implement IEP-aligned instruction and monitor individualized goals, collaborating with families, service providers, and school teams to promote student independence. I also leverage assessment data to improve outcomes, deliver differentiated literacy instruction (including achieving highest in-Readygrowth in my school building), and help scholars build self-advocacy through academic coaching and family partnership.
