What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to utilize my linguistic skills in a collaborative environment focused on language technology and preservation.

I am a dedicated linguist with a strong background in computational linguistics and field research. My Ph.D. thesis, 'A Descriptive Grammar of Yerukala: An Endangered South Dravidian Language,' reflects my commitment to preserving endangered languages and understanding their grammatical structures. I have honed my skills through various projects, including serving as a Language Editor for the Indian Languages Corpora Initiative, where I contributed to building an annotated parallel corpus for multiple Indian languages.

My experience as a team leader in projects focused on endangered languages has equipped me with the ability to manage fieldwork and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. I am passionate about leveraging my linguistic expertise to enhance language technology and contribute to the documentation and revitalization of lesser-known languages. I am now seeking a full-time position where I can apply my skills in computational linguistics and language analysis to make a meaningful impact.
