What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue as an academic coach who strengthens literacy outcomes through coaching cycles, PLCs, and data-driven instructional decisions—building curriculum that’s standards-aligned, developmentally appropriate, and informed by the Science of Reading.

I’m an education professional with a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood (Arizona State University, April 2022), where I studied curriculum development and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I also built an Applied Project to improve kindergarten students’ comprehension skills through guided reading intervention.

My teaching experience spans multiple early grades in Waldorf-inspired and classical models, always grounded in standards-aligned instruction. As a Kindergarten Teacher and First Grade Teacher at Seaside Charter School, I delivered ELA, math, and science through developmentally appropriate practices, integrating art, movement, and structured literacy routines aligned to the Science of Reading.

In my current role as a K-8 Academic Coach (Seaside Charter School, Aug 2023–Current), I design and refine standards-aligned curriculum that blends Waldorf principles with state expectations—emphasizing differentiation, assessment design, and developmental appropriateness. I coach and train teachers through PLCs, collaborative planning, modeling, and coaching cycles to implement research-based literacy and math resources (UFLI Foundations, Phonics Reading & Me, IXL), using data to guide instructional decisions, and I’ve presented on closing the reading gap at the Learning Forward Annual Conference.
