What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a teaching role where I can build standards-aligned, differentiated ELA learning, use Google Classroom/Canvas effectively, and support diverse learners through mentorship—open to in-person or remote work with strong family and staff collaboration.

I’m a dedicated educator and curriculum designer with 4+ years of experience in English Language Arts instruction, content development, and student mentorship across K–12 settings. I design engaging, standards-aligned learning materials and deliver them in both in-person and virtual environments.

In my current role as a 6th Grade ELA & Religion Teacher (Homeroom), I design and deliver standards-aligned lesson and unit plans for 5th–6th grade ELA, Reading, and Religion, integrating digital tools including Google Classroom and Canvas. I also manage a full homeroom, providing academic and social-emotional support to build an inclusive, high-functioning classroom environment.

I collaborate with faculty, parents, and administration via digital platforms to support student growth and maintain transparent communication. I serve as Student Council advisor and supported students in founding and launching a school newspaper, and I plan and lead school liturgies, events, and community activities by integrating values-based content into daily curriculum.

Before that, I student-taught 6th grade ELA and 6th–8th grade Social Studies while co-developing unit plans, and I served as a Remote Tutor & Homeschool Educator supporting PK–8 learners through individualized lesson plans aligned with the Seton Home Study curriculum. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology & Christian Ministry.
