Sarafina Nkandu

As a Youth Volunteer, I conduct community sensitizations on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and HIV prevention, provide referrals to health services, and advocate for youth access to healthcare.

As the Program and Advocacy Lead, I develop and conduct impactful programs focused on climate change awareness, support grant proposal development, represent the organization in stakeholder meetings, and manage social media content to enhance outreach. I coordinate outreach programs and engage potential partners to expand our network.

In my role as a Registered Nurse Volunteer, I assist in developing care plans, provide compassionate patient care, monitor well-being, and maintain confidentiality. I ensure accurate record-keeping and support patients in their daily activities.

In my role as Youth Advisor, I provide strategic guidance on child and youth programs, lead campaigns on early marriage and teenage pregnancy, and engage children through community initiatives to enhance impact.

Completed a Diploma in Nursing, gaining essential skills and knowledge in patient care, health management, and nursing practices.

Achieved a Senior Secondary School Certificate, providing a foundational education that supports further studies in health and community services.
