Pumulo Carlos Mutemwa
@pumulocarlosmutemwa
I lead public health programs advancing HIV, maternal health, and youth wellbeing across Zambia.
What I'm looking for
I lead public health programs that expand HIV and maternal health access for vulnerable youth and teen mothers. At Orange Babies' Chinyunyu Program, I directed targeted initiatives, supervised regional budgets, evaluated field data, and built a trained community healthcare team.
As founder of Youths and Health Initiative, I've mobilized over 8,000 young people through grassroots campaigns on mental health, substance abuse, and HIV prevention. I've built partnerships with the Ministry of Health, CIDRZ, UNAIDS, the National AIDS Council, DEC, and the Red Cross.
I've also led a nationwide mental health awareness campaign for Travel for Change Adventures, coordinated youth health education and field research, delivered vector-control and infectious-disease surveillance work, and lectured on public health law, regulation, bioethics, gender, and health.
