Sandra Burian

I am a motivated agriculture graduate from Sokoine University of Agriculture with practical field experience and strong academic performance, focused on sustainable farming and plant health. I combine classroom knowledge with hands-on work in pesticide regulation and residue management.

During a fieldwork traineeship at the Tanzania Plant Health and Pesticides Authority, I assisted in inspections, data collection on pesticide usage, and compliance monitoring, strengthening my understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality control.

As a volunteer international programs coordinator, I guided applicants through end-to-end application processes, liaised with partners and host institutions, and provided advisory support on program expectations and cultural readiness.

I bring leadership, basic research and data analysis, report writing, and strong teamwork and communication skills, and I am eager to apply these in roles that support sustainable agriculture, livestock development, and international cooperation.
