I’m a results-driven finance and credit specialist with over 4 years of progressive experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, debt recovery, and strategic reporting. I assess creditworthiness, streamline credit approval processes, and mitigate financial risks while supporting sustainable business growth across Zambia, Botswana, and Uganda.

As a Regional Credit Analyst, I analyze financial statements and credit reports to evaluate credit applications and determine risk levels. I calculate and assign credit ratings, prepare comprehensive credit reports, and monitor credit portfolios to proactively identify potential credit issues or defaults. I also manage debtors from an AR perspective, improve credit allocation and collection, and ensure credit insurance compliance and claims submission in case of default, while strictly abiding by KYC, risk, and credit policies.

Before this, I strengthened internal controls as an Internal Auditor, developing audit flowcharts and data visualisations, conducting tests for deficient controls, and collaborating across teams under the Three Lines of Defence model. Earlier as a Credit Controller at Lactalis Zambia, I handled bank and GL reconciliations, processed debtor journals, released orders based on credit limits, and followed up on customer payments through reminders and monthly statements.
