I’m a backend and AI engineer who ships production platforms 0→1 and builds ML systems from the ground up, including transformers, autograd, and attention implemented from scratch in Rust. In my primary role, I authored and scaled a FastAPI/PostgreSQL backend with Alembic migrations and a large pytest suite, exposing 226 REST endpoints across 57 data models.
I build end-to-end features—from Stripe escrow payments and webhook reconciliation to an on-chain settlement layer that signs and submits transactions to upgradeable smart contracts. I also pursue research-driven engineering: I’ve worked on symbolic AI governance that encodes the EU AI Act in formal logic for clause-level traceability, plus supporting tooling like a model registry and evaluation harness.

Built a symbolic AI governance engine encoding the EU AI Act as declarative logic (Answer Set Programming with Clingo) to automatically classify model risk with clause-level traceability. Developed a model registry with Hugging Face metadata scraping and an evaluation harness to measure accuracy, inter-annotator agreement, and solver scalability.
