What I'm looking for

Backend engineering role in fintech, banking, or enterprise software where I can own features end to end and work on systems like API integrations, workflow automation, and performance-critical services. I'm also keen on AI/LLM products using RAG and semantic search alongside Java and Spring Boot, with a team that values quality, mentorship, and growth into cloud and system design.

I'm a Software Engineer at Newgen Software (Feb 2024 – present), where I build enterprise backend applications for banking and BPM workflows using Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, Hibernate/JPA, and Oracle SQL. I've contributed to 15+ production features, turning business requirements into scalable backend solutions.

A big part of my work has been integrating banking workflows with external and legacy systems. I built a reusable, configuration-driven API integration framework with scheduled execution, independent retry handling, transaction-level audit logging, and status tracking. It cut the effort needed to onboard new API-based workflows. I also tracked down performance bottlenecks across Java logic, Oracle SQL, and connection handling, improving API response latency by about 30% for targeted workflows.

Outside of work, I build projects that go deeper into areas I enjoy. My Access Request Approval Automation Platform (Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, PostgreSQL, Docker) replaces email-driven access requests with a submit-review-approve workflow. It uses JWT authentication, role-based access control, an auditable approval history, and a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions. AskMyDocs is an AI-powered document Q&A platform (Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, pgvector) that uses a RAG pipeline with Sentence Transformers to return source-cited answers, with sub-100ms retrieval across 1,000+ vectors.

I hold a B.Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunications from Don Bosco Institute of Technology (CGPA 9.11/10), and moved into software through hands-on backend work. My strengths are OOP, API design and integration, authentication and authorization, database optimization, microservices, and testing with JUnit and Mockito.

I'm most interested in backend engineering roles in fintech, banking, or enterprise software, and in roles where backend skills meet AI/LLM work such as RAG, semantic search, and LLM integration. I'm currently learning AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS) to strengthen my cloud skills. I'm looking for a team where I can own meaningful features, work with well-designed systems, and keep growing as an engineer.
