I am a software engineer with hands-on experience modernizing backend platforms, optimizing high-volume batch processing, and delivering reliable production releases. I focus on maintainability, observability, and measurable performance improvements.
At National Australia Bank I upgraded Java services, standardized frameworks across 13+ microservices, and migrated logging to OpenSearch to improve maintainability and observability. I optimized a batch pipeline processing 50k+ records to deliver 2X performance gains in PDF/HTML generation, archival, and multi-channel distribution.
I extended customer communication capabilities by adding SMS delivery, integrating Customer Preference Management APIs, and implementing Email Bounce Back v3.10 to improve delivery reliability. I also introduced 20+ black-box tests and remediated 50+ vulnerabilities to maintain continuous green releases with zero major escalations.
