What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build interpretable, reproducible radiology AI—preferably contrast-free—using rigorous external validation and multicenter data, and translating DICOM insights into clinical workflows that improve decision-making.

I’m an MD and Medical AI Specialist bridging clinical radiology and machine learning, focused on developing high-accuracy diagnostic models for radiology. I’ve analyzed 1,360+ MRI cases, emphasizing Contrast-Free imaging and radiomics, and I build reproducible pipelines that achieve 91%-98% accuracy in external validation.

In my recent work as a Research Assistant at the University of Barcelona, I lead interpretable AI development for prostate cancer radiology—mapping 119 radiomics features to PI-RADS standards (Dictionary Version PM 1.0). I manage multi-sequence MRI datasets for 1,080 patients using IBSI-compliant pipelines, and I optimize validation with interpretable feature selection for strong external performance.

Previously at TELEVICO, I developed and validated a gadolinium-free AI framework for glioma diagnosis using multicenter cohorts (1,446 patients), reaching 94% cross-validation and 87% external validation accuracy. I also standardize AI metrics across Python, R, and MATLAB to improve reliability, and I translate complex results into radiological and biological dictionaries that support clinical decision-making.

Research Assistant

University of Barcelona

Sep 2025 - Present (7 months)

Led development of an interpretable clinical dictionary mapping 119 radiomics features to PI-RADS standards to improve transparency for prostate cancer radiology. Built IBSI-compliant MRI radiomics pipelines for 1,080 patients and achieved 78% peak CV accuracy and 74% external validation accuracy using only 5 key features.
