I’m a PostgreSQL database developer/administrator with 8+ years of experience administering and supporting PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2, and AWS RDS across Development, QA, Stage, UAT, and Production. I’m skilled in database performance tuning, query optimization, ETL/data migration, database security, and production support for large-scale, high-availability platforms. I partner closely with Enterprise DBAs, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and performant data systems.

In my recent work, I monitor database health (CPU, disk, availability) and proactively resolve performance and operational issues using AppDynamics, Datadog, and AWS Console. I manage security operations (access reviews, permissions, provisioning), lead production-to-nonproduction data migrations with PII governance, and run monthly archival/cleanup for storage optimization and compliance. I also create and optimize ETL/data load processes using Hive and PostgreSQL, including SQL/JSON-based rule execution and migrations from upstream flat files.
