What I'm looking for

I want to work on designing and validating highly available PostgreSQL platforms—doing benchmarking, HA/DR architecture, automation, and database health/performance work for enterprise-scale workloads.

I’ve been designing and operating large-scale, highly available, distributed database systems with a deep focus on PostgreSQL, with recent work at Nutanix Technologies India Pvt Ltd in Pune.

At Nutanix, I executed performance benchmarks across ARM vs x86 and NDB vs non-NDB deployments, then architected and validated multi-region HA/DR PostgreSQL topologies for enterprise-scale workloads. I also led testing for Object Archiver and WAL-based recovery and authored PostgreSQL architectural documentation for NDB, including Patroni failure scenarios and PostgreSQL reference architecture updates.

Before that, at Zeta Tech (Better World Technology) I led database administration in platform engineering, working on data architecture and reliability/performance/availability-driven product architecture changes. I handled database operations and automation for PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Yugabyte, including health-check automation for large clusters and configuring EDB EFM replication for automatic failover.

Earlier roles included driving PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Oracle, and Redis design/admin work at Mastercard, plus AWS RDS and migration work as an AWS Cloud Support Engineer. I started with hands-on Oracle DBA administration and banking-domain operations, managing 100+ databases across multiple platforms.
