At the Institute of Development and Economic Alternative, I managed monitoring and evaluation for UNICEF’s English and Digital for Girls’ Education program. I designed quantitative and qualitative surveys, analysed data and turned findings into reports and actionable insights.
As Program Manager – Human Development, I managed research on how sustained access to quality education affects gender norms and life outcomes in low-income communities. I designed interview instruments, conducted focus group discussions and managed research and field teams during data collection.
I also co-authored research and policy recommendations on COVID-19’s effects on women in Pakistan, including work for The Asia Foundation that used survey data from female informal workers and micro and small business owners. My research experience includes education, early childhood development and gender, supported by an MS in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
