I’m a warm, relationship-focused and experienced fully registered Early Childhood teacher and educational leader. I recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Early Intervention) with Distinction through Massey University, strengthening my ability to support diverse learners with responsive, specialist-informed practice.

As an Educational Leader / Centre Lead in a mixed-age early childhood environment, I led and supported a collaborative teaching team and built strong, trusting relationships with whānau. I worked closely with specialists—including Speech Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, RTLB and Learning Support teams—to strengthen support for tamariki with diverse needs and to create welcoming spaces where families felt valued and involved. I also supported transitions into early childhood settings and primary school through strong communication and collaborative planning.

My approach is rooted in culturally responsive and inclusive practice, with a strong commitment to belonging, participation, and positive learning outcomes. I mentor and guide kaiako to develop inclusive and responsive teaching practices, create learning environments that encourage independence and confidence, and build community partnerships through parent evenings, workshops, community events, and shared learning opportunities. I’m passionate about empowering those around children to work together in ways that promote holistic growth.
