At Examblue, I research user needs, test product assumptions, and prototype AI features for a personalized O/L and A/L exam preparation product. I also evaluate whether candidate AI approaches are feasible, reliable, and useful.
For my MSc research at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, I’m developing an explainable forecasting model for the CSE S&P SL20 Index. I’m combining technical indicators, macroeconomic data, and FinBERT-based news sentiment in a 55-variable dataset, then comparing a Temporal Fusion Transformer with other forecasting approaches.
In a team project, I designed household migration decisions and helped build a NetLogo simulation of climate-induced internal migration in Sri Lanka. The simulation modeled flooding, household vulnerability, and aid distribution, and produced findings for disaster-management recommendations.
I’ve also analyzed survey data on foreign tourist satisfaction using SPSS and Minitab, and built a YouTube summarizer using Python, Streamlit, and the Google Gemini API. I hold a BA (Hons) in Statistics and am completing an MSc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
