I teach dual-enrollment Western Civilization and U.S. History at Benton High School through Louisiana Tech University, connecting historical study to the present day.

As a certified Social Studies teacher with Bossier Parish School Board, I was named Teacher of the Year for 2023–2024. I also taught ACT preparation through The Princeton Review and received its Teacher of the Year recognition for 2014–2015.

I sponsor History Bowl, lead public history lecture series, and have presented original research at the National Constitution Center based on work with the National Archives.
