What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to inspire students and contribute to historical scholarship while fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment.

I am a passionate and knowledgeable historian with a strong background in teaching both online and in-person at the college level. My experience includes developing engaging curricula that bring historical periods and events to life, fostering critical thinking, and stimulating student discussions. I excel in conducting in-depth historical research and presenting complex ideas in a clear and accessible manner.

As an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University and Craven Community College, I teach a variety of history courses, focusing on both historical content and applied education theory. I provide individualized feedback and academic mentorship to support student growth in historical thinking and research skills. My commitment to fostering a learner-centered environment is evident in my course design and student engagement strategies.

In addition to my academic roles, I have experience as a real estate broker, where I represent clients in real estate transactions while maintaining fiduciary duties.
