Staff Product Designer who builds scalable design systems and design/engineering standards for teams.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Staff Product Designer specializing in design systems, with 8 years building and scaling component libraries, governance models, and cross-functional design/engineering standards. My work centers on making systems usable in real product cycles—through clear architecture, strong documentation, and measurable consistency across teams.
At Twilio, I led the migration from a legacy design system to a new system in partnership with Product and Design leadership. I defined the execution framework for an external agency of 6 designers, set foundations across accessibility (WCAG), usability, and documentation quality, and owned end-to-end coordination to ensure alignment between agency output and system standards.
Previously at PowerToFly, I partnered with engineering during a period of UI fragmentation to establish a shared design and QA structure. I helped replace duplicated patterns with a shared Figma and Storybook component library, formalized contribution and review practices, and shifted teams from building one-off UI to designing reusable, multi-use components—improving adoption by making Storybook the production reference.
Earlier, at AllTheRooms, I led design and research for a data-heavy consumer analytics platform—supporting outcomes like a 30% sign-up conversion impact and 2–5% improvement in paid acquisition. I introduced foundational components to prevent structural drift as the product scaled, and used design QA in Storybook alongside research translated into product strategy, information architecture, usability testing, and prototyping. Before that, at Celag.org, I rebuilt the brand’s digital presence by leading a 2-person team to define visual systems and editorial UX across web and social, including consistent templates, brand assets, and improved user flows through hands-on design iteration.
