What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead digital journalism and multimedia production—especially podcasts and public-sector analysis—while mentoring teams and partnering across web analytics, design, social, and events to grow audience trust and impact.

I’m a digital journalist with 20 years of experience in editing, writing, video, podcasting, audio production, hosting, panel moderation, photography, and social media management. I’m known as a leader in content development and management, turning complex public-sector topics into clear, engaging storytelling.

As a Managing Editor/Senior Writer at GovCIO Media & Research, I manage editorial staff and multiple production deadlines across virtual panels, in-person summits, podcasts, and editorial products. I mentor young reporters, collaborate with design, web analytics, social, and events teams, and interview senior government leaders across stage, video, and podcasts.

Previously, as Engagement Editor & Podcast Host at Government Executive Media Group, I helped build and scale major web brands, including support for launching DefenseOne.com, RouteFifty.com, and Nextgov.com. I administered staff across data visualization, newsletters, special reports, and video—and hosted the flagship GovExec daily podcast, producing 782 weekday episodes featuring interviews, news, and analysis of the federal government and the public sector workforce.

My work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Gazette, and TheAtlantic, and I’ve produced award-winning editorial products and flagship multimedia features. I bring a disciplined editorial strategy—paired with strong web and media metrics—to help audiences trust what they read, watch, and listen to.
