What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead communications strategy and hands-on delivery for mission-driven organisations, particularly those working in international development and Africa. I value meaningful work, strong donor and public communications, and collaboration with field-based teams.

I've built and led communications functions for ESMABAMA in Mozambique, growing its website to 4,400 unique first-year visits and LinkedIn community to 2,400+ followers. I manage strategy, digital channels, donor reporting, brand governance, multimedia production, and field communications across rural health, education, and agriculture missions.

My work has supported emergency fundraising, including €200,000 for drought-affected families and a Cyclone Idai campaign that raised more than €2.5M. I also bring communications experience from FEC in Guinea-Bissau, where I produced radio programmes in local Creole, and from consulting for NGOs, foundations, and private clients.
