At Paddock Publications and Chicago Tribune Company, I lead high-volume newspaper, commercial, and contract production on MAN Roland REGIOMAN web presses producing up to 65,000 newspapers per hour. I balance deadlines, staffing, equipment readiness, materials, quality, and downstream requirements while serving as a recurring Press Planner, relief supervisor, and technical resource during disruptions.

I've helped recover a missed 120,000-copy production commitment by validating production dependencies, using available Monday capacity for approximately 80,000 copies, and resequencing work to create Tuesday capacity for the remaining approximately 40,000. I track actual performance against plan, identify bottlenecks and readiness risks, and coordinate corrective action across planning, production, materials, maintenance, packaging, and leadership.

I use Excel, Google Sheets, OpenSolver, Aurosys, PECOM-X, and PPI to reconcile operational data, model capacity tradeoffs, document processes, and turn changing constraints into executable plans. I also lead and train crews of 2 to 4 people and direct up to 8 operators as a dayshift lead.
