Rodrigo Tsutomu Taira
@rodtaira
QA Automation Engineer and SDET.
BrazilWhat I'm looking for
With 7+ years in software engineering, including 6 years at Accenture Brasil delivering for enterprise clients across the US energy and Brazilian telecom sectors. The last 3+ years centered on test automation and quality assurance: builds end-to-end and API test suites in Cypress and pytest, and writes the production Python services under test. Runs regression suites in CI/CD, balances API and UI coverage across the test pyramid, and systematically debugs flaky tests and integration failures. Uses LLM tools in daily QA work to generate test cases and test data, surface edge cases and speed up debugging. Expanded regression coverage from 0% to 83% and owned release-gate smoke testing across 7+ deployments with zero critical post-release escapes. Currently develops backend features and automated coverage for an internal LLM-based AI platform. Works daily in English with US-based Agile teams and mentors junior engineers.
