What I'm looking for

Looking for a fully remote or Lisbon-based hybrid role with a European or international company. I want to apply my research and writing background to technical, scientific, or regulatory documentation, with room to grow into proposal and RFP writing over time.

I am a technical and proposal writer based in Lisbon, Portugal, with a PhD in Communication Sciences from NOVA FCSH. My work sits at the intersection of research, documentation, and language.

As a freelance Scientific and Technical Documentation Consultant, I review, validate, and refine documentation for international clients, support grant applications and project proposals, and provide EN↔PT interpreting at conferences. Before that, as a Technical Writer for an engineering consultancy, I prepared and standardized project documentation and contributed to a company website redesign.

My doctoral research, funded by Portugal's national science foundation (FCT), involved qualitative analysis of regulatory and contractual documentation. I've also edited scientific manuscripts across oncology, nanomedicine, and public health, and I bring a background in curriculum design and teaching that shapes how I structure instructional content.

I am looking for remote or hybrid roles (based in Lisbon) as a Technical Writer, Scientific/Medical Writer, Regulatory Writer, or Proposal Writer, ideally with a European or international company. I work fluently in English and Portuguese, and I'm comfortable with RFP writing, compliance matrices, technical editing, and turning dense source material into clear, audience-ready documents.
