At NRSP’s Climate Resourcing Coordination Centre, I led Climaventures from concept through GCF Board approval as a $50M blended finance programme. I now lead its implementation, coordinating a 13-person cross-functional team and developing a nationwide pipeline of climate ventures.
I’m also developing Greenshift, a proposed $250M GCF programme using NRSP’s microfinance model to support climate action for small farmers. In parallel, I’m developing a GEF concept with UNEP on urban heat management and wetlands restoration in Lyari, Karachi.
Earlier, at WWF Pakistan and Indus Health Network, I designed monitoring, evaluation and safeguards frameworks and supported programme proposals. I’ve also designed and delivered youth climate leadership training, and published climate policy op-eds in outlets including Al Jazeera, South China Morning Post and CGTN.
