At Epic Systems Corporation, I designed a real-time patient monitoring dashboard supporting workflows across more than 15 hospital systems. I also conduct clinical safety and risk-management evaluations, contributing to a reported 40% reduction in critical logic errors before deployment.
My PhD research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign focuses on formal methods for verifying safety-critical healthcare software. I’ve applied TLA+ to investigate false-negative edge cases in clinical decision-support alerts and evaluate safety properties.
My work also spans healthcare operations and clinical care. At Advocate Health Care, I developed financial analysis contributing to approximately $8M in annual operational savings; earlier, as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Rush University Medical Center, I cared for critically ill patients and trained new graduate nurses.
