I’m a Technical Lead and Senior Backend Engineer who designs, delivers, and sustains large-scale, regulated event-driven systems. I take real ownership of production reliability—responding to incidents, tuning performance for high-traffic workloads, and improving monitoring and alerting for transaction-critical paths.
Most recently, I’ve led architectural decisions spanning 40+ services for a regulated iGaming platform. I introduced a generic gameplay gateway, enabled multi-currency support (fiat, crypto, and sweepstakes currencies), and integrated multiple game and sports betting providers—coordinating backend, API gateway, and backoffice teams to keep contracts consistent and rollouts safe.
My approach is grounded in resilient serverless design: event-driven architectures using Kinesis, SQS, and Lambda; legacy deprecation to reduce technical debt; and multi-region data reliability with DynamoDB and MongoDB. I also define the structural patterns that govern serverless execution and middleware layers, using that clarity to raise the bar across the team.
Before that, I built and evolved event-driven, serverless microservices in a full-stack context, moving features from concept to production readiness. I’ve worked across TypeScript/Node.js services (plus some Rust and Python), NoSQL-heavy systems, Docker-based workflows, GraphQL and REST APIs, and Angular frontends—plus I’ve stepped into leadership moments by onboarding newcomers and covering for a Tech Lead when needed.
