What I'm looking for

EM / Senior EM / Head of Engineering at a product company — remote, or hybrid in Valencia. I manage 30+ across engineering, QA and BA through their leads, and still own every 1:1 and review myself. Also hands-on: shipped a real-time AI assistant to production in regulated healthcare (~6,000 daily users) and built the AWS serverless MVP that replaced our billing vendor. Fintech/healthtech.

Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience in software engineering, building web, cloud-based, and recently AI/LLM-enabled software products. An engineer at heart: I lead with hands-on technical and cloud (AWS) experience and an engineer's judgment on what we build and whether it ships.

My focus is leading engineering teams that deliver reliably: developing team leads into stronger managers, mentoring and interviewing engineers, guiding performance and career growth, and building high-performing teams that people want to stay on.

At the end of the day I just care about two things: the people, and whether what we build actually matters.

Lead AI/LLM delivery end to end — a real-time assistant now at ~6,000 daily users. Selected the speech provider on ~800 parallel live tests, and re-architected from pilot monolith to distributed services at 10x planned load.
