I built a Python random forest model to predict competitor product shortages for Medline Medical with four-week anticipation in the BYU Quant in Business Society Data Analytics Case Competition. I handled data cleaning, modeling, and an executive-style presentation, and our team placed in the top five.
For Battle of the Quants with BYU Silver Fund, I developed a quantitative trading strategy analyzing the market impact of Federal Open Market Committee meetings. I finished in the top five while competing as a freshman.
As a Grounds Specialist at BYU Site and Landscape Construction, I organize and manage signage, parking chocks, and fencing across more than 50 campus parking lots, and collaborate on winter snow removal operations. I also generated $115,000 in revenue for Mira Home Environmental Solutions as a Sales Representative at Grit Marketing.
