My native-level fluency in Kiswahili and proficiency in English allow me to excel in translation, linguistics, and data labeling. Currently, I work as a Data Annotator at LinguaTech Solutions Ltd., where I annotate and validate Swahili and English text data for AI and NLP applications. My role involves performing semantic tagging, entity recognition, and part-of-speech labeling, as well as translating and aligning bilingual data for machine learning projects. I collaborate closely with QA teams to maintain data consistency and accuracy, delivering high volumes of quality-labeled data within strict deadlines.

Previously, I served as a Language Data Specialist Intern at VoiceTrain AI, where I collected, cleaned, and transcribed Kiswahili audio data. I created and validated datasets for speech recognition systems and worked alongside linguists to ensure cultural and grammatical correctness. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics & Kiswahili from the Technical University of Mombasa, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to thrive in this field.
