Reuben Adekeye

I build technology and AI systems that work in the real world — and increasingly, systems that can also be understood, governed, and proved.

For 20 years, I’ve worked across software engineering, solution architecture, product development, AI innovation, R&D, technical operations, and technology leadership. As former CTO of Chisquares, I led multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and domain experts in building AI-enabled research infrastructure & products. That experience shaped how I approach technology: start with the problem, understand the operating reality, and build systems that create measurable value.

Today, my work sits across three connected areas:
→ Product Strategy & AI Innovation: helping teams turn ideas and emerging technologies into useful products, platforms, and capabilities, from architecture and product strategy through engineering and delivery.
→ Technical Leadership: working with founders, CTOs, and leadership teams on architecture, technology strategy, product development, engineering challenges, and technical risk.
→ AI Governance & Evidence: helping organisations make their use and delivery of AI understandable, operational, and defensible. This includes turning governance and regulatory requirements into practical evidence: AI inventories, ownership and review processes, technical documentation, transparency measures, control mapping, and evidence for procurement, customer due diligence, security reviews, and regulatory conversations.

My particular advantage is operating at the intersection. I can engage with the business question, the product, the engineering implementation, and the governance requirement without treating them as separate worlds.

I’ve worked across industries, teams, and geographies. I’ve learned that good technology is rarely about choosing the newest tool; it is about understanding the people, constraints, workflows, risks, and outcomes around it, then building accordingly.
