What I'm looking for

I seek a role that allows me to further develop training programs focused on mental health and racial equity, in a collaborative environment that values community impact.

I am a passionate advocate for racial equity and mental health, with extensive experience in training program development and management across academic, correctional, and clinical settings. My role as an Assistant Program Director at CUCS has allowed me to schedule over 90 trainings annually, impacting thousands of professionals who serve mentally ill clients in the criminal legal system. I take pride in my ability to develop and implement innovative training programs that address critical issues such as mass incarceration and mental health from a racial equity perspective.

In addition to my work in training, I have a strong background in case management and therapeutic practices, having served as a Therapist/Case Manager at Goodwill Industries. My commitment to empowering individuals with lived experience is evident in my development of a Speakers Bureau Program that has significantly enhanced the NYPD Crisis Intervention Training. I am also an Adjunct Professor at NJCU, where I explore contemporary issues in psychology, furthering my dedication to education and advocacy.
