I’m an ELA Native Language Paraprofessional focused on helping Arabic-speaking students succeed through daily classroom support, safety, and on-task learning. In Denver Public Schools, I assist with students’ behavior, monitor learning, and support instruction in Math, reading, and other subjects.
I also bring teaching experience from my student teacher role at Mcmeen Elementary, where I taught part of the 3rd grade curriculum under supervision and planned and prepared my final project. I’ve supported assessment and instruction through assisting with grading, proctoring during tests, and substituting when needed.
Beyond the classroom, I strengthen communication access through Arabic interpretation and translation. I’ve provided consecutive interpretation over the phone and served as a Medical Interpreter, translating medical documents and facilitating understanding using consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation modes while following professional standards and a code of ethics.
My background pairs education with community-focused service. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and I’ve also earned an M.S. in Agricultural Extension, along with interpreter and bridging-training certificates—reflecting my commitment to continuous learning and culturally responsive support.
