What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative environment that values language education and cultural exchange.

With a strong foundation in language education and a commitment to fostering student growth, I have dedicated my career to teaching Arabic as a foreign language. My journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Tishreen University in Syria, followed by an ACTFL certification in Arabic Language with Superior Proficiency. I have participated in numerous workshops focused on teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, which has enriched my teaching methodologies and classroom strategies.

Currently, I serve as an Arabic teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools, where I have successfully designed and implemented lesson plans tailored to the diverse learning styles of my students. My experience spans various educational settings, including online platforms and traditional classrooms, where I have taught students from elementary to high school levels. I pride myself on integrating technology into my lessons and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents, ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment.
