What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can build and ship AI-driven, data-driven products—turning models into reliable software. I want hands-on work in ML/NLP, research-to-production integration, and mentorship while learning to scale systems for real impact.

I’m a Software Engineering graduate from Adama Science and Technology University (top performer, CGPA 3.96/4.00) with a strong drive to turn research into working products. My focus is building intelligent systems that are scalable, measurable, and genuinely useful—especially in AI for real-world decision-making.

In my thesis, I developed a Medical Imaging and Research Hub for radiologists, delivering Chest X-ray multiclass classification with DenseNet121 and Grad-CAM visual explanations. I designed a web application that supports radiologist collaboration and helps translate model outputs into clearer clinical decisions.

Through experience in AI and engineering roles, I’ve built full-stack solutions and trained language models for impact. I worked as a Research and Development engineer at an AI institute on early-stage AI-driven projects, and I previously developed an Amharic Question Answering model using open-source LLMs with dataset fine-tuning and NLP evaluation. I also built a Flutter + Node.js + MongoDB eCommerce platform with secure authentication and optimized performance, and completed a remote Data Scientist internship covering preprocessing, visualization, predictive modeling, and production-focused robustness.
