What I'm looking for

Seeking remote senior full-stack and technical lead roles in fintech, payments, and cloud platforms. Core stack: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python/FastAPI, Node.js, Firebase, and Google Cloud. Based in Guyana (UTC-4); available 8 hours/day, starting ASAP. Rate: US$30/hour (US$62,400/year at 40 hours/week for 52 paid weeks).

I am a senior full-stack engineer and technology leader with more than 10 years of software development experience across financial services, government, telecommunications, and business applications.

At the Economic Development Fund, I serve as Technology and Middleware Manager, owning the architecture and operation of an internal platform connecting web applications, payment channels, loan-management systems, reporting, and identity services. My work includes payment validation, reconciliation, loan-system posting, receipts, exception handling, and operational dashboards.

My core stack includes React, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python/FastAPI, Node.js, Firebase, and Google Cloud. I work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, REST APIs, Docker Compose, Keycloak, OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, and Form.io. My responsibilities span application development, integrations, production operations, and development team leadership.

My career also includes engineering work at BairesDev and the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission, frontend development at Strategy Object, development team leadership and systems analysis at GTT+, and freelance development at RASH. My broader experience includes Angular, Ruby, Ember.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.

I am interested in remote senior engineering and technical leadership opportunities where I can build and operate reliable financial integrations and cloud platforms. My portfolio is available at hunteinvest.com.
