I’m a hands-on engineering lead. I’ve been the engineer who writes the hard parts, the tech lead who gets a team to ship on time, and the CTO accountable for architecture and delivery across 15+ concurrent product lines. The work spans fintech, AI and security, learning platforms and event software, and I’ve stayed in the code the whole way.
Building: I architected a multi-tenant finance platform and wrote the specification the team built against. I’ve also built AI-assisted vulnerability triage, a real-time event platform, and learning and certification platforms. When I add LLM features, they produce signals, not decisions, and never write anything on their own.
Leading: I led 8-12 engineers to 100% on-time delivery across 10+ products, cut scope creep 35%, and ran engineering async-first across time zones.
Owning: I make the stack and build-vs-buy calls, often for non-technical founders, and I carry the pager. Systems I’ve looked after went from 93% to 99.95% uptime, with time-to-recover down 88%.
I do my best work on small teams, where building and leading happen at the same time.
