Raquel McGarry

At Finger Lakes ReUse, I coordinate the ReUse Materials Access Program with more than 40 human service agencies, processing 1,000+ annual referrals for unhoused and vulnerable community members. I build program data tracking in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and ReportPundit; support grant research, writing, reporting, and budgeting; and produce program, marketing, and informational materials.

As a SUNY Cortland English Department research assistant, I conduct literary research, evaluate and annotate academic sources, and co-write and edit an academic book review. My work is grounded in close reading, clear and accessible communication, meticulous editing, and proactive organization across competing projects.
