With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for cinematic arts, Rana Elmetwally is an accomplished academic and creative professional. She holds a Bachelor of Film Studies from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and a Master’s degree in Korean Studies from the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS).

Rana currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Film Department at AUC, where she mentors and inspires the next generation of filmmakers. In addition to her academic role, she channels her creative energy as a writer for podcast and media productions, crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences.
