@ramsuraj
I build structural, fatigue, and NVH simulations that correlate closely with physical vehicle tests.
What I'm looking for
At Isuzu Technical Center of America, I build structural, fatigue, and NVH models for medium-duty electric trucks and vehicle components. My thermo-mechanical fatigue simulation of an exhaust system correlated high-temperature strain-gauge measurements with predictions.
I developed a full-vehicle FE model in HyperMesh, ran modal and transient analyses in OptiStruct, and processed road-load data with nCode and Python to achieve 91% correlation with physical tests. I also investigate field structural failures, support product-design fixes, and identified a 6% water-pump mass-reduction concept through topology optimization.
Previously at Liebherr Mining Equipment, I modeled welded structures to IIW notch-stress guidelines and achieved 86% agreement between predicted damage sites and field failures. I bring practical finite-element analysis, fatigue durability, test correlation, design of experiments, and Python automation to joining and structural-design challenges.

Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
CAE Structural & NVH Engineer
ISUZU Technical Center of America
Sep 2023 - Present (3 years)
Pioneered Isuzu's first non-linear thermo-mechanical fatigue simulation using Optistruct and nCode DesignLife, correlating high-temperature strain gauge measurements with simulation predictions. Developed FE models of a medium-duty electric truck in Hypermesh, achieving 91% correlation between simulation and physical test results.
Engineering Intern - Analysis & Simulation
Liebherr Mining Equipment
Jan 2023 - Jul 2023 (6 months)
Developed 3D finite element models of welded structures in ANSYS Workbench following IIW guidelines, achieving 86% agreement between damage-site predictions and field failure locations. Created 2D parametric FE models to study joint dimensions and weld parameters, and built a Python-based signal processing pipeline for fatigue calculations.
Senior Engineer - Product Management
Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd.
Feb 2021 - Jul 2021 (5 months)
Tested the MF6028MP tractor and drove hydraulic-system and Voice-of-Customer improvements through engineering change requests, delivering per-unit cost savings and raising customer satisfaction to 82%.
