Performance-driven systems and security engineer building macOS endpoint security with low-level C/C++.

What I'm looking for

I want to build performance-focused endpoint security and low-level systems components—leveraging macOS ES, reverse engineering, and profiling—to ship secure, reliable agents that prevent real-world threats with measurable latency improvements.

I’m a performance-driven systems and security engineer with 4 years of experience building kernel-adjacent services and endpoint security agents on macOS. I focus on writing clean, highly testable C/C++/Objective-C code and tightening the performance bottlenecks at the hardware-software boundary.

At Seclore Technology, I designed and implemented a low-level macOS Endpoint Security (ES) background service to intercept and authorize system file events in real time. Using reverse engineering, binary instrumentation, and Objective-C method swizzling, I helped enable fine-grained controls like blocking print actions, watermarking on save, and denying unauthorized data extraction and file opening/preview.

I’ve also engineered secure security infrastructure: cross-platform file classification modules in modern C++, X.509 certificate workflows in C++ with Keychain-backed storage and verification, and an authenticated local REST channel to exchange encrypted policies with an Outlook Web (OWA) JavaScript add-in. I profile and de-risk production behavior using Instruments to eliminate latency and resolve high-volume event backlog bottlenecks.

Previously at LAVA International, I built Android virtual RAM (swap) functionality across framework, HAL, and kernel interfaces, authored custom SELinux policies, and implemented device-driver gesture handling for Double-Tap-to-Wake. I complemented OS-internals work with performance analysis (Perfetto/Systrace), modern filesystem evaluation (EROFS), and repeatable diagnostics automation using Python, plus ongoing OSS contributions as an osquery contributor.
