At Housecall Pro, I built and led the Payroll engineering team, growing it from one squad to two specialised teams. I own the product lifecycle across payroll processing, commissions, time tracking, time off, and benefits.
I drove the 2024 squad split, designed the two-team structure, and led knowledge transfer while continuing with the Payroll Acquisition & Activation squad. I also authored the cross-squad engineering strategy and partnered with Product and Design on delivery.
One outcome I’m proud of is Pro-Led Onboarding, a self-serve payroll onboarding experience launched in May 2024 that cut time-to-activation from 3–4 weeks to about 14 days. I also worked on an automated commissions engine that replaced manual spreadsheet tracking.
Before Housecall Pro, I worked at GFT, Mobica, Accenture Services, and Sii on fintech, automotive, and web applications. I stay hands-on with code and technical work, and introduced AI-assisted development practices to the Payroll squads.
