What I'm looking for

Backend roles at a product company where I can own services end-to-end — from API design and database modeling to CI/CD and observability. I'm looking for a team that ships with tests, cares about performance under real load, and gives engineers room to make architectural decisions, not just implement tickets.

Backend Engineer with 3+ years building production B2B systems in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. At Excuela, I led the migration of ~200K users from Firebase/BigQuery to PostgreSQL, cutting cloud costs by $5,000+/month and improving response time and data consistency across the platform. I also designed and shipped 20+ REST API resources with full Swagger documentation, integrated Firebase Auth, FCM, and Twilio, and replaced a third-party reporting dependency with an in-house Excel/CSV/PDF export module.

I work with Clean Architecture, write tests with Jest and Testcontainers, and ship through GitHub Actions CI/CD. I'm most effective in backend-heavy roles where the domain is complex and the data model matters.
