Oleksandr Miniailo

I’m a full-stack engineer with a strong focus on backend development and experience building scalable systems for fintech and web applications. I currently work as a Tech Lead, where I design and develop APIs, integrate third-party services, and lead the implementation of core features for transaction and payment systems.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with technologies like Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, building applications using Node.js and React. I have hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs, working with SQL and NoSQL databases, and deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS and Heroku.

One of my main areas of experience is in financial systems, where I’ve built solutions for card issuing, transaction processing, P2P transfers, and integrations with external providers like Mastercard. This has required a strong focus on reliability, handling edge cases, and ensuring data consistency across distributed systems.

I enjoy working on complex backend challenges, improving system performance, and designing architectures that can scale over time. I’m also comfortable working across the stack when needed and collaborating with cross-functional teams in remote environments.

Outside of work, I’m interested in learning about new technologies, especially in AI and blockchain, and finding ways to use them to improve development workflows and build better products.
