I'm a Software Developer based in Mexico, working with React, Next.js, and TypeScript on the frontend, and Node.js and Python/FastAPI on the backend. I've built web applications for payment processing and client management, with experience taking features from the interface through APIs and databases.
In my most recent role, I developed recurring payment features, including failed-payment retries and safeguards against duplicate charges. I also improved invoice searches by optimizing database queries and indexes, resolving timeouts on large datasets. Alongside the team, I worked on enterprise single sign-on and investigated payment issues across services.
Previously, I helped build an accounting CRM where staff could manage client records, documents, and access permissions. My work covered both frontend and backend development. I also co-developed AI features using OpenAI, function calling, and document retrieval, allowing staff to ask questions about client files and missing documents while respecting their access permissions.
