At Majid Al Futtaim, I serve as Vice President Finance and CFO for East Africa. Since 2014, omnichannel revenue has grown more than 30% year-on-year, and I helped launch the region’s first co-branded card and the group’s first prepaid card, generating $90 million in incremental revenue.
I led the acquisition of Shoprite in Uganda and orchestrated the sale of two malls for a $20 million capital gain. In Iraq, I transformed loss-making operations into a profitable country with the first Turnkey Model, which enabled five new store openings.
At Lear Corporation and Hirschmann, I led manufacturing plant launches in Morocco, managing investments of $250 million and €150 million, respectively, and securing government support. I’ve also implemented Python- and Power BI-driven analytics that improved forecasting and budgeting accuracy to 97%.
