Passionate community dietitian specializing in weight management and diabetes.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated community dietitian with a passion for nutrition and a lifelong commitment to promoting health through diet. My journey in dietetics has been shaped by my experiences in various settings, including chronic conditions management and public education. I thrive on empowering my clients, helping them achieve their health goals through personalized dietary plans and motivational support.
Currently, I work as a Band 6 Community Dietitian, where I deliver diabetes education across the Cardiff & Vale area. My role allows me to utilize my extensive knowledge in dietetics, gained through my postgraduate studies and practical placements. I have successfully guided clients to significant health improvements, including weight loss and diabetes remission, demonstrating the positive impact of tailored dietary interventions.
My enthusiasm for dietetics is reflected in my group facilitation work, where I create engaging environments for clients to learn about nutrition. I adapt my approach to meet the diverse needs of each group, ensuring that the information provided is relevant and actionable. Witnessing my clients' progress and increased understanding of their health conditions is incredibly rewarding.
