I support the Virginia Department of Energy by researching emerging and ongoing energy issues, writing Virginia General Assembly-mandated studies, and helping execute the Virginia Energy Plan. I also provide research and writing support for SEP-IIJA Grants and legislative analysis during and beyond the General Assembly Session.
Previously, I developed and executed state energy and utility regulatory policy, prepared legislative summaries for the Governor's office, and worked directly with members of the Virginia General Assembly. My Ph.D. in Public Administration/Affairs and research background at Virginia Tech strengthen my quantitative, qualitative, policy evaluation, and data analysis work.
